  18. With Windows NT, hDC Power Launcher version 1.0 does not install the
  19. correct icons and associations are not defined.
  20.  
  21. NOTE: If you upgrade to Windows NT from Windows 3.1 and you have a
  22. directory called "WINDOWS," this problem does not occur.
  23.  
  24. CAUSE
  25. =====
  26.  
  27. This problem occurs because hDC Power Launcher 1.0 tries to copy
  28. MICROMAN.EXE to the WINDOWS directory. (It does not call
  29. GetWindowDirectory to determine the correct directory name.) If the
  30. setup program does not find the WINDOWS directory, MICROMAN.EXE is
  31. copied to the application's installation directory. Since this
  32. directory is not in your path yet, MICROMAN.EXE is not found and
  33. incorrect icons are installed.

  38. To work around this problem, upgrade to a later version of hDC Power
  39. Launcher.
